“ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fogón Cocina Mexicana The atmosphere is lively—bright lights, big crowds, and the kind of laughter that tells you people are having a good time. Perfect if you’re in the mood for energy, but a little loud if you’re looking for a chill dinner spot. The welcome was warm and different—no chips and salsa to start, but instead a little bean taco that made me smile. The drinks are talked about for a reason. I heard the margaritas were amazing. Mine was definitely strong (heavy on the booze) so I may need to come back again to fully experience the magic. The food was mixed for me. I liked the chips, but the salsa and guacamole were just okay. Since we mainly came for drinks and the noise level was a bit much, we ended up heading somewhere else to eat. Overall, a great spot for festive drinks and atmosphere—just maybe not the best place if you’re craving a quieter sit-down meal. ”
“ An authentic Mexican restaurant with authentic Mexican food. I had Quesadillas Fritos that were quite spicy and delicious. The Mojito was on the weak side, but overall an enjoyable experience. The service was polite and quick. ”
“ Visited Fogón Cocina Mexicana on a busy Tuesday night. The place was packed, but wait times were surprisingly short. It’s definitely on the louder side, yet the lively vibe made it enjoyable. One thing to note - no complimentary chips and salsa like many other Mexican spots. What I ordered: Chile Relleno – Absolutely delicious, served with rice and beans. Every bite felt like dining at a high-quality spot. 100% worth it. Enchiladas Verdes – Went with the green sauce, and I have no complaints. Honestly, one of the best enchiladas in town. Jalapeño Tamales – This one was underwhelming. The flavors didn’t stand out, and the side salad was overly bitter. Wouldn’t recommend this dish. Hand-Pressed Tortillas – Simply superb. Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I go back? Definitely. ”
“ The food, Service, and Ambiance was amazing. As soon as I checked my party and I were quickly greeted and sat down to a table with a complimentary dish. The drinks we ordered were freshly made as well as the food we ordered and received hand made tortillas. Being a Mexican American who lives in Los Angeles California. I approve this restaurant to anybody craving Mexican Food ”
“ The pollo tacos were the best! The chicken fajita was flavorful but quite spicy, and it was a bit disappointing that it didn’t come with any pico de gallo or lettuce. The chips and salsa were excellent—slightly spicy but really delicious. The guacamole was a bit too salty for my taste, and unfortunately, I was told it’s made in bulk each morning and can’t be customized. Happy hour offers a good deal, but it requires a drink purchase. Only street parking is available, and it’s $4 per hour. Despite a few letdowns, the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and the food came out very quickly. ”
